Lemon Custard

Deliciously refreshing dessert.  Must try!

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 TBS cornstarch
  • 1 lemon rind, grated
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 TBS marshmallow cream
    Directions:
  1. In a sauce pot combine egg yolks and sugar, mix well
  2. Add cornstarch and next 4 ingredients, mixing well
  3. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, when thick, remove from heat
  4. Add marshmallow cream to mixture and stir
  5. Cover and refrigerate or serve at room temperature
